CVCOA is seeking candidates interested in serving in positions on its Board of Directors.
The Board is responsible for and has authority over the overall management and performance of the Council on Aging. Members of the Board serve two-year terms, renewable for up to four consecutive terms.
Candidates do not have to be seniors.
The primary requirements for candidacy include interest and experience in senior matters, residency within CVCOA’s 54-town service area in central Vermont, and the ability to actively participate in Board and Committee meetings.
Expertise in non-profit law, fundraising, or community advocacy is of particular interest.
