Our Mission
Central Vermont Council on Aging (CVCOA) is the leading expert and advocate in healthy aging for Central Vermonters. At CVCOA, we respect the wishes of aging persons to age at home, remain healthy, and stay active and connected to the communities they know and love. We offer programs and services for people age 60+, caregivers, and their families. Our mission is to support Central Vermonters to age with dignity and choice. We're grateful to all sponsors and donors who support this mission.

This is a difficult case and her work has made this Vermonter’s life so much better.
To Karen and Rhenee, Thank you both for your valuable time and patience with me. You eased my discomfort with the ‘system’ and made it fun. It looks like you solved my dilemma within one hour.
You are truly a life-saving ‘warrior.’ Please continue to do what you do so well.
One person at a time, you have made the lives of older Vermonters better with support and companionship. The services you provide are part of being in a caring network to support Central Vermonters. Every single day our volunteers make a significant difference in the lives of others.
Brenda, you did a fantastic job with S.B. Your approach was person centered and despite all the difficult twists and turns of this case you stayed true to S.B. Her last years were better in no small measure because of your efforts. I am so proud to serve with you. Thank you so much!
